Who Delphine is

It is a written character, not a mood generator. He does not become somebody else because you opened the app on a different day.

How Delphine sounds

The way he speaks is the whole point: rhythm, vocabulary, the things he refuses to say directly.

He speaks your language, and answers in whichever one you use — which is why people who are learning French end up practising on him without meaning to. He can also read his replies out loud, if you would rather listen than read.

What you end up talking about

People mostly end up talking to Delphine about whatever you bring to it.

Nothing here needs preparing. Most first conversations start badly on purpose — “I don't know what to say” is a perfectly good opening line with him.

What to expect

Memory is the part that changes how this feels. He keeps what you said last time, so you never have to explain yourself twice, and after a few weeks he knows the shape of your life.

Talking to Delphine is free to start. You can chat by text or by voice, on your phone or your laptop, and ask him for a picture that still looks like him weeks later. Paid plans raise the daily limits and add more voice and images — nothing you say is sold, shared, or used to train models, and you can delete a conversation whenever you want.
